I spent the better part of Saturday getting to Liverpool. I was out of the house at the unglamorous hours of the morning to catch two buses to the docks. I still had a bit of a walk to the terminals. That wouldn't have been as bad if my cabin bag wasn't so annoying. Lesson: don't get a trolley bag that is higher than it is wide.
From the terminal, we took a bus into the ferry. The inside of the ferry was amusing. It looked like a scene out of Wall-e.

Nothing much to say about the ride though. I slept through most of it.

From Dublin, I got to Wales, where I caught another two trains to Liverpool. By the time I got to the Nugents it was almost evening. And it wasn't long before we headed out again to the hall.
We had an American fancy dress night! I obviously didn't have any costume to bring from Dublin, so I just borrowed a baseball shirt from the Nugents.
Sunday was the meeting. Pastor Lee gave a good talk about discerning right from like: our feelings don't justify truth. I suppose even that makes sense in an empirical way, but we still don't always make decisions like that.
Later that evening we had a tour of a naval ship. Pretty random, but cool.

Today was also pretty interesting. I went to a market at Ellesmere Port with Ronnie. I didn't get anything this time, but it was a nice morning out. Lunch was at a cafe near by. We had these things called bin lids. Which is basically a full breakfast in a massive burger bap. Mine had sausage, egg, bacon, mushrooms and black pudding. It was pretty rich.
The rest of the day was slow and breezy like that. I had coffee in the afternoon, and tried to get some work done. The evening was spent with the Finneys and Jen at the beach. I would go into more detail about that but I'm really tired now...
Good night!
