Happy pancake day! There are pancakes everywhere here.

Look at the weather being nice

I first noticed it when the supermarket next door set up a pancake station with the sign Pancake Tuesday. I thought it was going to be a weekly thing.

Apparently not! It's supposed to mark the day before Lent, where people feasted on rich foods like pancakes because it contains the yumminess of flour, eggs, milk and fat. That's what wiki said anyway.

And it seems like a pretty big deal too. Some club was giving out free pancakes at ucd today. Those weren't very nice.

Later tonight I'm going to a pancake party of sorts. Hopefully those pancakes will be nicer.

That aside I've been busy this week. I spent the weekend past buying plane tickets. It's actually quite exhilarating to buy flights like they were trousers. Not that I would normally buy six trousers in a week either.

So yeah I have trips to Liverpool, Budapest, Rotterdam, London and Tampere all lined up for now. Exciting! The next thing to settle is accommodation and stuff. All this is really distracting amidst the studying I have to do for two midterms tomorrow.

I really should get back to the books. And pancakes.
